Editorial draft available to read. Factual and language review is pending. Examples are illustrative.
Decision and method
Record each document's owner, status, effective date and scope. Compare statements affecting the same decision: price, service, condition or procedure. A technical modification timestamp does not establish authority. Define who resolves contradictions and how superseded material is marked before the assistant uses it as current evidence for a customer-facing answer.
Illustrative example
Illustrative example: an old proposal includes unlimited support while the approved service sheet limits maintenance scope. The assistant does not combine them to offer the more attractive condition. Review checks whether the proposal was a contractual exception and prevents that individual agreement from being presented as the general service policy for all customers.
Acceptance check
Introduce two conflicting fictional sources and a clearly superseded version. Check that the answer identifies the conflict or follows documented authority without inventing a reconciliation. Accept when an owner can explain source selection and corrections propagate into retrieval, citations and the evaluation questions that depend on the affected facts.
Key takeaways
- Resolve source authority and scope before expecting the assistant to provide a definitive answer.
